At 2 Aprons & 5 Loaves, we believe life's most meaningful moments happen with friends and family in the kitchen and around the table.

We are an East Texas cottage bakery creating small-batch breads, seasonal baked goods, and handcrafted kitchen favorites inspired by the changing seasons. But more than that, our heart is to help people gather well. Through fresh bread, seasonal baked goods, cooking and baking classes, holiday traditions, and thoughtfully curated special offerings, we hope to inspire families and friends to slow down, share a meal, and create memories that last long after the table has been cleared.

Whether you're bringing home a loaf of bread, decorating holiday cookies with your children, or sharing one of our date night boxes with someone you love, our prayer is that every product we offer becomes an invitation to food, faith, and fellowship around your own table.

In every item we bake, class we offer, and specialty item we create, we are rooted in the values of Food, Faith & Fellowship.

Just 2 Girls Who Love Jesus & Bread

& The Families Who Love Them

My love for baking began as I prepared to return to school while raising a family. I found an unexpected peace in the kitchen. Baking became more than measuring ingredients and following recipes—it became a place where creativity, purpose, and love came together.

My husband, Dale, has always been my biggest encourager, and together we've built a home where gathering around the table is part of who we are. Our daughters have grown up with the aroma of freshly baked goods, flour on the countertops, and the understanding that some of life's sweetest conversations happen over a homemade meal.

What started as a way to slow down quickly became a passion for developing recipes that one day my girls will bake in their own homes. Creating traditions and memories with their own families, remembering that some of life’s sweetest moments happen around the kitchen table.

Welcome to our table. -Leslie

Hi, I'm Meagan. I'm married to the love of my life, Bryan, and together we're raising two incredible sons. I'm a homeschool mama, a Jesus follower, and someone who has always believed that some of life's most meaningful moments happen around a table.

My love language is feeding people.

I've been cooking and baking since I was old enough to stand on a dining room chair pulled up to the kitchen counter so I could stir the gravy my dad was making or dump chocolate chips into the cookie dough my mom was mixing. I grew up in a family where every gathering centered around food. The kitchen was always full—of conversation, laughter, stories as we worked side by side preparing meals that nourished both body and soul.

That love has never left me. Whether I'm baking bread, making dinner, or trying a new recipe, my greatest joy is loving people through the food I create. I've worn many hats over the years, but I've often said that if I could choose any career, it would be feeding people and teaching them to feed themselves well.

After a cross-country move from Washington State to the Piney Woods of East Texas, God brought Leslie into my life, and we became instant friends. We quickly discovered a shared love for baking, cooking, and gathering people around the table. As she shared her lifelong dream of owning a bakery, it became clear that our paths had crossed for a reason - to launch 2 Aprons & 5 Loaves.

Family is the heart of 2 Aprons & 5 Loaves.

Our humble cottage bakery is a family affair. Dale and Bryan keep us encouraged and grounded. Our kids are our certified product taste-testers and biggest cheerleaders. Everyday our families remind us that the greatest gift we can give isn't just homemade bread—it's creating opportunities to gather in the kitchen, and making time to fellowship around the table.

For us, baking and cooking have never been just about food. It's about creating a place where family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers become part of the same story. Whether you're sharing a loaf with family, delivering bread to a neighbor, or gathering around the table with friends, we hope what comes from our kitchen becomes part of the memories made in yours.

Our prayer is that every loaf and treat we bake, every class we offer, and every specialty item we create will provide moments of Food, Faith & Fellowship in your home; just as they have in ours.
